Frequently Asked Questions
The things people ask us most about working with a video team, and honest answers to help you decide what's right for you.
Getting Started
-
Almost certainly, but not in the way you might think. Video isn't one-size-fits-all. A one-person shop and a hundred-person company need very different things. The first step is figuring out which foundational videos will actually move the needle for you, rather than chasing a trend.
-
Almost always the foundational ones: a homepage video, an about video, and a simple explainer of what you do. Get those in place before you invest in anything flashier. Most people skip to step ten; we start you at step one.
-
That's exactly what the consultation is for. Tell us about your business and your goals, and we'll help you sort out where video will help most and where to start. No pressure, and no jargon.
-
Yes. We travel for projects. Have bags, will travel.
Pricing And Process
-
Most of our work is custom, so pricing depends on the project. We'll give you a clear proposal after a short consultation, with no surprises. We also offer a starter project, a simple fixed first step of five videos and five to ten photos, for businesses who want an easy way to begin.
-
It starts when you send us a quick inquiry. Dave personally reaches out to set up a 30-minute consultation. From there we put together a proposal, plan the shoot together on a production call, film, edit, and deliver. We keep it collaborative and easy the whole way through.
-
It depends on the scope, and we'll give you a realistic timeline up front. What we won't do is rush the parts that make the difference between a video that looks nice and one that actually works.
On The Day, And After
-
Not at all, and you're in good company. Most people feel that way at first. Making you comfortable is part of our job, and the reaction we hear most is that it was the easiest, most relaxed experience someone has ever had on camera.
-
Yes. We handle both, which is especially useful for events, where one coordinated team captures your video and photos with a consistent look.
-
Yes. We travel for projects. Have bags, will travel. Just tell us where and when.
-
Use it everywhere. A video with no plan behind it sits on a shelf. We help you think through where each piece lives, on your website, your channels, and your emails, so it keeps working long after the shoot.
Still Have A Question?
If we didn't cover it here, just ask. Send us a quick note about your project, and Dave will personally reach out to set up a 30-minute consultation.
